Preschool Options at Mesabi East
Mesabi East Early Childhood Programs provide a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experience for young children and their families. We invite families to apply and join a program designed to support your child’s growth through hands-on learning, structured routines, and meaningful social development.
Our Early Childhood classrooms nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a love for learning, helping children build the foundational skills they need for success in kindergarten and beyond. At Mesabi East, we believe early learning is about more than academics. It’s about helping children learn how to communicate, solve problems, work with others, and feel safe and supported as they explore the world around them.
We understand that every child develops at their own pace, and every family has unique needs. That’s why Mesabi East offers multiple early childhood options, plus Structured Day Programming for families who need additional care. Whether your child is starting their first school experience or preparing for the transition to kindergarten, we’re here to help them learn, grow, and thrive.

Structured Day Programming is available for enrolled students whose families need additional care beyond classroom time. This option can be used to create a more consistent weekly schedule by combining your child’s Preschool day with additional structured care at school.
Families may choose structured days based on their needs. Requests for structured days should be made in advance so we can plan programming and staffing.
Structured Day Programming is $30 per day. This fee is payable by families. If your family has been awarded a State Pathways Scholarship, it may also be used for this program.
