Sports Registration Information

Register for Sports

1. Have your child’s student ID number ready.

You will need this number to register. Your child’s student ID number can be found in PowerSchool.

2. Make sure your child’s sports physical is on file.

Mesabi East must have a current Sports Qualifying Physical Exam on file for your child.

If your child’s physical is not already on file, submit a copy using one of these options:

• Drop it off with Dana Prophet in the high school office.
• Email it to Sherri James at sjames@isd2711.org.
• Upload it to Bound during registration.

Once the physical has been entered into the system, you can complete registration.

3. Watch for your approval email.

All completed registrations are reviewed for accuracy before students receive final approval to participate. You will receive an email when your child’s registration is approved.

Registrations are typically reviewed daily during the registration period.

Homeschool Families

Already have a homeschool student ID number? Use that number to register your child by following the steps above.

Need a homeschool student ID number? Please complete the Homeschool Student ID Request Form .

After you submit the form, the Activities Director will email you your child’s homeschool student ID number. You can then use that number to register your child for sports.
