Lifelong Learning for the Mesabi East Community
Mesabi East Community Education provides opportunities for people of all ages to learn new skills, stay active, and connect with others across our district. Guided by the belief that learning doesn’t stop after graduation, Community Education offers experiences that support lifelong learning, personal growth, and enjoyment for residents throughout the Mesabi East area.
Our Community Education Department strives to offer a variety of classes, activities, and events for every age group, including options focused on fitness, recreation, creativity, and enrichment. Whether you’re interested in swimming lessons, painting, youth sports, adult learning, or trying something new, we want Community Education to reflect the interests and talents of our community.
We’re proud of our traditional programs, but we’re always looking to expand with new and unique offerings. Have an idea for a class you’d like to see? Have a skill or passion you’d be willing to share? We welcome suggestions and instructors who want to help strengthen our community through learning and participation.
